Summary
In the Critical Chain, the author speaks about the Theory of Constraints and how to improve the performance of a system. As my day job is in design and manufacturing this was extremely relevant to many of the frustrations we find. That being said I see how it can be applied to life in general.
Key Take Away
You need to look at the system as a whole and not be as concerned about optimizing each piece. This applies to manufacturing and life. Look at the big wins and what one thing is the biggest constraint on the entire system. Often times we miss the forest through the trees.
