Real Artists Sign Their Name

There is a story that when the first Mac computer was completed, Steve Jobs got all of the designers to sign their names on a piece of draft paper which was then engraved into the inside panel of the computer.

This idea had a real impact on me. No matter what you do, do it with excellence. Whatever your pursuit in life is, be so proud that you want your work to have your name on it.

Throughout your day, during all of your tasks, ask your self “would I sign my name on this?”

If the answer is No, then what would you need to change to be proud enough to sign your name? Do not settle for mediocracy, when you can achieve excellence.
